Follow our blog to keep up to date with all the latest discounts for civilians, military, veterans and first responders on travel.

AIRLINES

– Delta Airlines Discounts – This airline offers a military discount. Call for exact discount. Rates could vary from city to city. There is also a senior discount available.

– Southwest Airlines Discount – This airline offers a military discount. You have to call in to order your tickets to be eligible. The discount is not available online, and also the discount is only offered to certain cities. Rates could fluctuate depending on the dates of travel. Southwest also has a special offers section on their website that is open to all including both military, civilians, veterans, international citizens, etc.

– United Airlines Discount – This airline offers a discount to military personnel and their families while on leave from duty. You must have valid military ID and use a personal credit card for purchase to be eligible. There is a special offers section on their website that has rotating specials that any travelers can take advantage of, even civilians.

– US Air Discount – This company offers discounts to military personnel who are  on “officially excused absence and to discharged personnel within seven days of discharge. There is a group tickets available for all travelers, which are great because they offer the ability to have name changes.

AMUSEMENT PARKS

– Legoland Discount – Legoland offers a 10% discount for all US Military service members on 1-day admission tickets. There is an AAA discount of 10%. Commercial airplane employees get a 20% discount. Travel agents receive discount of 50% on 2 tickets or 20% on 6 tickets.

– Hershey Park Discount – This amusement park in Pennsylvania offers a military discount. You must go on the site and print out the coupon to show them at the main gate as well as have valid Military ID to receive this discount. All travelers, including civilians, can get discounted tickets by purchasing in advance at participating GIANT Food Markets.

– Universal Studios Hollywood Discount – This organization offers military discounts to active duty, Reservists, National Guard, DOD employees, as well as all these groups dependents. The only catch is the discounts are not available at the door.  You must get your tickets in advance. You can get them through any MWR/ITT office in the United States or call Commander, Navy Region, Southwest at (619) 767-6000. Please allow enough time prior to your trip to get the tickets via mail. They have an online offer open to all where you can purchase a 2 day pass at a discounted rate.

CRUISES

– Carnival Cruise Discount – This cruise liner offers a military discount but it varies from ship to ship. Make sure to check when you book. They offer an Early Saver discounts for guests that book far in advance to all. There is also a senior discount.

– Norwegian Cruise Discount – This cruise liner offers a 10% military discount for military personnel and their families as well as veterans, retirees, and reservists. There are discounts available for group travelers who are either civilian or military.

– Royal Caribbean Cruises Discount – This cruise liner offers a discounted rate to military personnel, reservists, retired personnel as well as veterans who got out with an Honorable Discharge. Valid military ID as well as your DD214 are required if you are a veteran.

HOTELS

-Beaches Resorts Discount – Beaches Resorts offers a 10% Discount for both US and Canadian Military personnel for their stay. There is also a 10% discount for Firefighters that is offered here.  The website for the resorts also has a tab where you can select discounts by location to see any discounts each individual location might be offering at the time.

-Best Western Discount – This hotel chain offers discounted rooms to military personnel and government employees at the Per Diem Levels set by the Government. There is both a AAA and a CAA discount for members. Best Western offers an AARP discount. There are early internet specials you can take advantage of by watching their website.

– Choice Hotels Discount – This hotel chain offers a military discount to personnel and their families whether they are on official travel or on vacation. The discount extends to their dependents as well. There is an advanced booking discount open to all travelers via internet. There is an AARP discount.  Also, kids stay free at Choice Hotels.

-Hawthorn Hotels Discount – This hotel chain offers military personnel discounts at the Pier Diem Rate set by the US Government. There is also a senior discount, a group discount and an Auto Club discount.

– Howard Johnson’s Discount – This hotel chain offers active duty military a 10% discount depending on availability. You must have valid military ID. There is an Auto club discount, group discount as well as senior discount.

– Ramada Inn Discount – This hotel chain offers Pier Diem Rates for military personnel at participating locations. This hotel has a group discount and senior discount. There is also an Auto Club discount.

– Sandals Resorts Discount – This hotel chain offers a 10% discount to all military personnel from both the United States as well as Canada. There is also a Firefighters discount available at Sandals Resorts.  You can view their website as well to see any deals or specials they might have at each individual resort at the time of purchase.

TOURS

Hoover Dam Powerplant Tour Discount (Outside of Las Vegas)- Active duty military personnel will save 2 dollars on the tour here at Hoover Dam. Active duty military in uniform are allowed to take the tour for free. So next time you are in the area, take the tour in uniform to save yourself some money.

Old Town Trolley Tours and the DC Ducks Discount (In & around Washington DC) – This organization offers tours by land and sea of Washington DC and Alexandria, VA. They offer a military discount with valid ID. They also have a discounted rate for children.

TRANSPORTATION

– Amtrak Discount – This company offers a 10% discount on regular fares for active duty military as well as their families. Amtrek also has discounts for seniors, students, children, AAA members, and NARP members.

– Greyhound Discount – This company offers a 10% discount for active duty military personnel and families as well as retired military personnel. There is advanced purchase discounts for all travelers, as well as discounts for seniors, students and children.

– Peter Pan Bus Lines Discount – This bus company offers a 10% military discount for military personnel as well as their dependents. Reservists are also eligible. There are also commuter discounts, children discounts and student discounts.
